We're building the context layer for agentic engineering
When the reasoning behind engineering decisions gets lost, you can't build with confidence. We created a system that captures every detail. So you always know the why.
The problem was obvious from inside the workflow
We worked inside complex, safety-critical engineering programs, including the Rolls-Royce F-35B and the Boeing 787. Across them, we saw the same failure repeat: critical design intent lived everywhere except in one reliable place.
CAD captured geometry. PLM tracked files. Docs stored conclusions. But the reasoning behind decisions disappeared across emails, chats, reviews, and handoffs.
As programs become more complex and teams more distributed, that missing context turns into rework, delays, audit risk, and lost confidence.
Tandem was created to fix that structural failure, not by adding another tool engineers have to maintain, but by building agents that work alongside engineers. Agents that capture intent, preserve context, surface risk, and help teams understand what changed, why it changed, and what it affects.
